Product Description
TYCO backplaneIt is made of XPS foam board (without CFC and HCFC, blue closed-cell core material), coated with glass fiber mesh cloth and polymer cement mortar on both sides. It makes the backer board an ideal base for laying tiles using the thin bed technique. The XPS foam board in the core is 100% waterproof with expected vapor resistance. As proof, these panels meet the rigorous standards of ASTM/ANSI waterproofing testing and are suitable as part of waterproofing installations when seams and fastener heads are properly prepared.
