Smart Glass Description
Smart glass is a layer of liquid crystal film sandwiched between two sheets of glass.
The liquid crystal film is protected between 2 layers of PVB film, then placed in an autoclave or a general one-step high-temperature oven, and bonded together in a high-pressure process.
Smart glass has advantages in terms of privacy protection, while having the characteristics of safety glass.
The glass will be transparent when there is a current on the liquid crystal film, and the glass will be opaque when the power is off. The light and shade can be changed by controlling the voltage, which is convenient and simple to switch.
If a black film is used, it will be opaque when the power is off, and black and transparent when the power is on.
The color can also be made according to the customer, and the film can be made into a self-adhesive film function according to the customer's requirements.
