Go Green Pervious ConcreteKnown as porous concrete, sand-free concrete, and permeable floor, it is composed of coarse aggregate, cement, water and permeable concrete reinforcement, which are mixed to form a continuous pore structure, also known as porous light concrete, which does not contain fine aggregate.

Go Green permeable concrete reinforcementIt is the core material for the production of permeable concrete. It is a gray powder that reacts quickly with Portland cement, exerts the best gelling effect, improves the compactness of concrete, and greatly improves the working performance and durability of concrete.

Construction Program

1.Feeding order: First add 1/2 of the stones into the mixing hopper, then add cement, permeable concrete reinforcing agent, and then add 1/2 of the stones, that is, keep the cement and the permeable concrete reinforcing agent in the middle of the stones.    

2. Hybrid approach: First add 20% of the water in the empty machine, stir in the empty machine, then lift the hopper, and add water several times during the stirring process until the water-cement ratio is reached. The cement slurry in the permeable concrete mixture has a large consistency and a small amount. In order to ensure that the cement slurry covers the aggregate evenly, a forced agitator should be used. It is recommended that the stirring time of the 350 type agitator is 4 minutes, and the stirring time of the 500 type agitator for 3.5 minutes.

3. Finished product transportation:Finished materials should be delivered to the construction site in time, and the recommended time is within 10 minutes. When the temperature is higher than 30°C, the concrete should be covered to keep the water and prevent the water from evaporating, otherwise the construction quality will be affected. Recommended shipping time no more than 30 minutes

4. Concretecasting:Before pouring, the roadbed must be moistened with water, otherwise the rapid loss of water will reduce the bonding strength between the aggregates, and then the finished material will be laid on the roadbed.

5. Vibration:Plate vibratory compaction is used to ensure that the concrete pavement has good compactness and strength; after compaction, it is promptly polished with a concrete grinder, and the places that cannot be reached by the machine need to be manually polished. The surface should be smooth and the stones should be evenly distributed.

6.maintain: After the construction of the surface layer is completed, it should be maintained in time, and the road surface and both sides should be covered with a plastic film without gaps to ensure that its humidity and cement are fully hydrated; the permeable concrete should be watered after 1 day, and the best maintenance effect is when the paint film has a lot of dew.

7. Finished material:The curing time of film-covered permeable concrete is 7-10 days. If cutting is required, mechanical cutting can be carried out when the strength of permeable concrete reaches 70%.

8. If it is necessary to make colored permeable concrete, spray the color modifier after the curing period, and the visual effect will be better.
