Scope of application:

It is suitable for waterproofing and moisture-proofing of civil building roofs, underground, bridges, parking lots, pools, and tunnels, especially for buildings under high temperature. According to roofing engineering regulations, APP modified bitumen waterproofing membrane can be used in first-class civil buildings and industrial buildings with special waterproof requirements.

There are two methods in the application:
a) One method is the heating and melting method. Heat the membrane and the polyethylene film on the surface of the roofing slab to nearly melted (non-flowing) by heating and melting, and then completely bond the membrane to the roofing slab with an overlap of 5-10 cm.
b) Another method is the cold bonding method. Pour the cold adhesive evenly on the roof slab, and install the roll film so that it is completely adhered to the roof slab.
In the application, heating and melting method and cold bonding method can be used alternately according to requirements.

c) After construction, a comprehensive and careful inspection is required to ensure that there are no bubbles or shedding. To ensure waterproof life.

Construction requirements:

1. The base layer should be dry and clean. Do not work in rain or snow.

2. Do not work under strong wind (above level 5)

3. It is not suitable for construction below 5°C

4. In case of rain and snow during the construction process, protective measures must be taken for the laid membrane materials.

5. All workers should wear special uniforms during installation to ensure safety. Fire fighting equipment should be available.

put up: 

The special formula for fire protection allows the membrane to be used directly with the primer. This application is named "Torched on application".

1. Base treatment: The base surface must be clean, solid, flat, dry, free of gravel, cracks and floating dust. For larger grooves, fill them with cement mortar and level them. Remove protrusions and remove dust. If working on the floor or sides, dewater.

2. Apply a primer before laying the film, and use a vacuum cleaner or a dust blower to remove the dust on the surface of the concrete base; then apply a waterproof DY primer as a whole (for dust consolidation and high adhesion).

3. Heating and melting: Place the film correctly, ignite the torch, and heat the film and the base completely. When the surface of the film is black and bright and there is a fusion layer, stick the film and press it into a firm and flat state. The film is cooled and the seam edges are sealed with a float.

4. Requirements for lap joints: lap joints should be less than 3 layers, and the joints should be "T"-shaped, avoiding 4 layers of lap joints. Longitudinal lap width 50-80mm, end lap 100mm

5. Press the film surface firmly with a roller to make it stick firmly.

Packing and shipping:

1. The film should be stored under dry and ventilated conditions.

2. Membranes of different types must be stacked separately.
